The Green New Deal is Absurdly Unaffordable

According to a study by the Competitive Enterprise Institute, the so-called Green New Deal would cost the average household almost $75,000 in the first year and over $40,000 each year ever after.  It's pointless to even ask, "Have you got $75,000 you can kick in for this?" Obviously the answer for the vast majority of households is "no".  Bernie Sanders answer to how he's going to pay for this? "We'll figure it out".

Bernie Sanders is Right. Our Economy IS Designed By the Wealthy

Bernie Sanders is running around the country braying that our economy is “designed by the wealthiest people in this country to benefit the wealthiest people in this country at the expense of everybody else.” If he'd left off the last six words, he's be absolutely right. Our economy is designed to reward those who are extraordinary economic producers. That's pretty much how you become really wealthy. Doing things that others find quite valuable -- whether designing great smartphones or hitting .325. The last six words are where he goes (intentionally, I'm sure) wrong.
